Installer - Office Furniture - Direct Hire
OFFICE FURNITURE INSTALLER
Doherty Staffing Solutions is seeking a furniture installer to work at our client company located in Brainerd, MN.
This is a Direct Hire position! Starting pay is $14-$16 based on skills and experience. The regular office hours are 8am-5pm however the hours may be extended or varied due to client needs.
OFFICE FURNITURE INSTALLER
Responsibilities:
Checks in, loads orders into the warehouse, as necessary
Understand paperwork, drawings and tools
Set out and/or load the project needs the night before install
Loads the correct furniture for the job and paperwork given for the day
Be accountable for all Suite Spaces tools, carts, blankets and parts etc. following installs
Install and deliver furniture according to CAD plans
Knowledge of several major furniture systems lines is necessary
Knowledge of several case goods lines
Manage and coordinate oil changes, tabs etc.
Receive product and parts when applicable
Clean, sweep, and organize back garage, parts area, and used warehouse
Snow/ice removal from back garage and access door
Get client project approval sign offs
Create and document a punch list for each installation (if necessary).
Determine any punch list, freight damaged, or warranty parts, & report to Accounting/
Order Entry
Manage to get warranty labor paid by mfg. where possible
Supervise a clean truck (cab & bed)
Organize parts and pieces left after jobs, and keep a certain inventory of critical parts
OFFICE FURNITURE INSTALLER REQUIREMENTS:
Strong math skills, and able to read 2D and 2 D plans, and accurately determine spaces
Neat, clean, and maintain tidy and organized installation areas
Always thinking about safety for everyone!
Experience working with hospitals, corporations, and secure areas
Customer service in the field is critical to the position
Wear Suite Spaces logo branded clothing
Be clean, neat, shaven
Clean driving record is critical
Communication both written and verbal are critical
Must have teamwork, and a let's get it done attitude
Courteous and friendly even in adverse situations
Precision and accuracy of the installation trumps speed
Technology: Microsoft Outlook, Word, navigate manufactures websites for
Instruction downloads
PLUS
Knowledge of MN DOT is a plus
Forklift operator is not necessary, but a plus
